Study Finds Cost of Fighting Meth

A proposal designed to slow the production of meth in Indiana could come with a hefty price tag according to a new study from Ball State University.
The analysis says making medicines containing pseudoephedrine prescription-only would cost more than $90 million each year.
According to the study, it could cost the state hundreds of millions in lost sales, tax revenue, and would increase out-of-pocket expenses for those with health insurance.
