A.G. Schimel in Green Bay to Address Meth and Medications

GREEN BAY, Wis. — (WFRV-TV) – Wisconsin Attorney General Brad Schimel is in Green Bay Tuesday to help launch a statewide public awareness campaign on the dangers of a practice called “smurfing.”
Smurfing is the illegal act buying over-the-counter medication to treat cold and allergy symptoms. The criminals use the ingredient known as pseudoephedrine (PSE), found in Claritin-D and Sudafed to produce methamphetamine.
