Letter: Meth users ruin quality medications

Crisp mornings, cool evenings and bright blue skies mean the onset of fall in Michigan. For some, it is a favorite time of year, but for many others it is the start of fall allergy season. Sneezing, watery eyes and a runny nose are just a few of the symptoms that people with these allergies endure. Each year, the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America (AAFA) releases their Fall Allergy Capitals list of the most challenging cities for fall allergies, and this year Grand Rapids comes in at #33.

Many allergy sufferers are able to use over-the-counter medications to help alleviate allergy symptoms. They are convenient and they work. Restricting access to these drugs would lead to daily suffering, so I am thankful these medications are available to me without the expense of doctor appointments and time off work.
