Let’s face it, Oklahoma isn’t the best place to live in the country during allergy season. According to the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, Oklahoma City is the third worst city to live in with allergy symptoms in the United States. Tulsa is number 12.
The only solace that we can take away from this fact is that hard-working Oklahomans still have access to over-the-counter cold and allergy medicine containing pseudoephedrine. There had been attempts in recent years by some legislators to make those products available by prescription only, as a way to fight back against the meth epidemic in our state. This is because some criminals use them to make meth.
